Functions - Additional Function Information

• The Botanic Garden of Adelaide, (Dept. of Environment and Heritage) has strict policies regarding vehicle access. See terms and conditions.
   
• A room hire of $200.00 applies to all functions.
   
• Gate security is required for evening functions and is charged at $35.00 per hour.
   
• Formal bridal and cake table skirting are available and charged at $25.00 each.
   
• Round tables incur an additional charge of $12.00 per table for linen.
   
• We are unable to offer tastings for wedding menus, however, you are welcome to personalise your menu with our function co-ordinator.
   
• We have a recommendation folder you are welcome to use for music, flowers, cakes, and decoration ideas.
   
• Children's meals are available.
  0 - 5years no charge
  5 -12years (inclusive) - $18.00, this includes non-alcoholic beverages
  12-17years (inclusive) - considered adult food, and non-alcoholic beverage included.
   
• Your function booking is for exclusive use of the restaurant and terrace area only. It does not provide exclusive use of the Botanic Garden of Adelaide or Botanic Park, even after normal public hours. The Botanic Garden of Adelaide, (Dept. in Environment and Heritage) does from time to time allow other events to take place in the Botanic Garden i.e. Music in the Gardens, ASO Alfresco in the Gardens. These events have always been successful, and with careful management do not effect restaurant functions.
   
• Minimum numbers of 80 applies to all functions during January, February, March, April, May, September, October, November, and December. Minimum numbers of 60 applies to June, July, and August.
   
• In the event that you have less than the above minimum numbers, a surcharge of $50.00 (sit down) and $33.00 (cocktail) for each guest not here will be charged.
   
• If you wish to have your ceremony within the actual gardens you need to contact the Botanic Garden of Adelaide, (Dept. in Environment and Heritage) Function Co-ordinator on 08 8222 9356.
   
• A marquee can be hired to cover the terraced area, providing protection for inclement weather at a charge of $550.00. (Price may be subject to change).

• All prices are current for 2007 and indicative only for 2008. We anticipate prices may rise approximately 5% for 2008 and 10% for 2009.
