Functions - Breakfast

The restaurant can comfortably seat a minimum of 40 guests and up to 100 guests with the option of the adjoining terrace area, allowing room for an additional 20 guests. Conditions for this apply and are outlined further in the following information.

Option 1 Sit down Breakfast $20 per person

  • Platters of seasonal fruits
  • Croissants and muffins with jam, whipped cream and butter
  • Selection of juices
  • Freshly brewed coffee and tea

Option 2 Sit down Breakfast $35 per person

  • Platters of seasonal fruits per table
  • Freshly baked muffins and toast with jam, whipped cream and butter
  • Selection of fruit juices
  • Freshly brewed coffee and tea

Choose one from the following hot dishes

  • Hash browns with egg and bacon frittata
  • Fried eggs, with spinach, cheese and garlic bruschetta
  • Field mushroom filled with spinach and fetta served with chevapchichi
     
  • Scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato and mushrooms
  • Scrambled egg and smoked salmon tart with mushrooms and tomatoes
  • Scrambled eggs, Botanic baked beans, thin pork sausages and fried tomatoes
  • Eggs Benedict - poached on muffin with ham, cheese and hollandaise sauce
     
  • Dried fruit filled crepes with cinnamon sabayon
  • Continental sausage with poached egg, tomato and mushrooms
  • Fruit bread toast with orange and poppy seed mascarpone and grilled pear
  • Eggs poached in Napolitana sauce with shaved parmesan and Extra Virgin olive oil

Additional choices can be included at a cost of $5 per dish.

Option 3 Cocktail Breakfast

Breakfast Cocktail Menu

  • Spanakopita
  • Individual quiche Florentine
  • Scones with jam and cream
  • Tomato and basil bruschetta
  • Crepes filled with dried fruit salad
  • Fried Chorizo and roast tomato on crouton
  • Smoked salmon and scrambled egg tartlets
  • Crepes filled with Champagne ham and Gruyere
  • Mushrooms with parmesan and pinenut filling
  • Platters of fresh oysters (Seasonal) with lemon and lime
  • Fresh fruit platters with minted yoghurt
  • Piroskhi (Bacon and onion yeasted pastry)
  • Prawn, avocado and mayonnaise on croutons
  • Blinis with smoked salmon and creme fraiche
  • Apple, camembert and muscatel on walnut bread
  • Asparagus, cherry tomato and scrambled egg tarts
  • Grilled pear, prosciutto and blue cheese on rye bread
  • Toasted fruit bread with orange mascarpone and pear

Beverages

  • Selection of juices
  • Freshly brewed coffee and tea
  • If you wish to have champagne, this would be charged on consumption.

Additional Information

The restaurant is available from 7.30am and must be vacated by 11.00am.

Minimum numbers of 40 applies to all functions. Additionally, these numbers apply to Sundays and all public holidays.

In the event that you have less than these minimum numbers, a surcharge of $35.00 for each guest, for either cocktail or sit down function.

A room hire of $200.00 applies to all function bookings.

he cost of an adjoining marquee on the terrace area is dependent on guest numbers. Please refer enquiries to Jane.

Flowers can be booked through our regular florist and charged to you at our cost price, or you are welcome to provide your own.

Musicians, audiovisual equipment or additional lighting can be booked through our regular contacts, and charged to you at our cost price.

The Botanic Garden Administration has strict policies regarding vehicle access.

Bookings

To confirm a booking, a deposit of $5 per person is required within 14 days of tentatively booking a function. Confirmation of final numbers for your function is required 3 business days prior to the function. Should the number of guests attending the function be less than the confirmed number, you will be charged for the confirmed number.
